Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren!

Folgende Neuigkeiten haben wir für Sie parat:

 Behobene Fehler:

• Rechtschreibung: Zeichungen statt Zeichnungen.
• Sind bei den allgemeinen Setting Erinnerungen statt Aufgaben eingestellt... hat dies keine Auswirkungen auf die E-Mail-Integration:

Abbildung 1, Zuordnung von Aufgaben sollte bei Modul „Erinnerungen“ obsolet sein

• E-Mail-Integration: Imap: Anhang mit leerem Dateinamen führt zu 500er-Fehler
• Bildvorschau wird nicht angezeigt.
• Formular „Einreichen der Erfindungsmeldung“ funktioniert nicht.
• E-Mail-Integration: Sonderzeichen werden nicht korrekt angezeigt..

Neuerungen und Erweiterungen in Continux (Weiterentwicklungen aus unserer Innovationswerkstatt):

• Kundenwunsch: Bitte die Position Kauf bei Erfindervergütung an erster Stelle
• Der Filter wurde erweitert: es kann nun auch nach dem Status „in Vorbereitung“ gefiltert werden für Nachanmeldungen/Validierungen/nationale Phasen, die zwar in Continux schon über den Workflow angelegt sind, beim jeweiligen Amt jedoch noch nicht eingereicht wurden

• GMail-Email Integration: E-Mail-Integration: Google Postfach über sicheren Authentifizierungsweg (OAuth 2.0 über IMAP) einbinden
• Erweitertes Dokumentenmanagement 
  • Teil I: Kategorisierung nach Dokumentart und Kommunikation; Anzeige aller Dokumente der Familie in einer Übersicht gefiltert (beispielsweise Prüfungsbescheid mit Anlagen (D1, D2, ...))

Dokumente einer Schutzrechtsfamilie: Dokumentenverknüpfung, parallele Dokumente öffnen und bearbeiten sowie vergleichen, Arbeit mit Dokumenten am Bsp. eines Prüfbescheids mit Stand der Technik Dokumenten aus verschiedenen Familienmitgliedern, Dokument Metadaten werden um 2 weitere Aufzählungen erweitert:

• DokumentArt (DokumentArt hat Werte wie z.B. Prüfbescheid, Prüfbescheid D1, Prüfbescheid D2)
• Kommunikation (Kommunikation kann Werte wie zB.: Mandant, Amt, Vertreter)
• In der Dokumentenübersicht kann nach diesen Kategorien gefiltert werden
• Über einen zusätzliche Option können alle Dokumente der Familie angezeigt werden                

Abbildung 3: Nun können Dokumente noch näher bestimmt werden, kategorisiert werden und es kann zusätzlich eine Dokumentensuche über die gesamte Familie erfolgen, so dass bestimmte Dokumente, z. B. Prüfbescheid „D1“ familienübergreifend gesucht und dargestellt werden können

• Auftragsarbeit: Es wird ein Report zur Verfügung gestellt, der die Ausgabe wesentlicher Schutzrechtsdaten im CSV-Format ermöglicht

• Status Erteilungsbeschluss ändern auf 
  • deutsch: Erteilung beabsichtigt
  • englisch: Grant intended
• Es wurden die Sicherheitsvorkehrungen weiter verschärft in Bezug auf das Hochladen von Dateien auf den Continux-Server
• Wird aus einer PCT heraus im Workflow „Familie erweitern“ der Eintritt in eine nationale Phase für US generiert, wird das Anmeldedatum kopiert. Wenn der Eintritt in die Nationale Phase tatsächlich erfolgt, ist das Datum entsprechend einzutragen:

Bei US startet direkt mit Eintritt in die Nationale Phase auch das Prüfungsverfahren.

Spannender Ausblick auf die neuen Continux-Versionen!

• Geplante Releases 4.7 - 4.9
  • Erweitertes Dokumentenmanagement 
    • Teil I: Kategorisierung nach Dokumentart und Kommunikation; Anzeige aller Dokumente der Familie in einer Übersicht gefiltert (beispielsweise Prüfungsbescheid mit Anlagen (D1, D2, ...))

(Teil I: ist erledigt mit dem jetzigen Release!)

• Teil II: Speichern von Dokumenten in SharePoint oder OneDrive und Öffnen / Editieren über Office365, bzw. Google Drive und Google Docs
• Zu den Continux-seitig gelieferten Amtsfristen werden wir den Kunden eine eigene Oberfläche zur Verfügung stellen, wo sie ihre Fristen selbst konfigurieren oder erweitern können, bzw. gegebenenfalls auch Fristen von "aktiv" auf "passiv" setzen können, da nicht von Interesse, wie zum Beispiel die Frist zur regionalen Phase Tansania oder ähnliches. Voraussetzung für diese eigene Oberfläche ist allerdings die Continux Enterprise Version, da der Aufwand, dies auf der geteilten Instanz zu verwalten für das Continux-Team nicht einfach zu stemmen wäre.
• Patent Bewertung und Review Prozess wird aufgestockt und interaktiv gestaltet, so dass mehrere Rollen in einer Zusammenarbeit ihre Bewertung werden elegant abgeben können
• Dokumente sollen in OneDrive, SharePoint Listen oder Google Drive gespeichert werden und über Office 365 oder Google Docs respektive bearbeitet werden können
• In der Aktensuche (Filter) bei Marken sowie in der Aktenvorschau (Auflistung aller Marken) soll die Klasse(n) mit angezeigt werden und filterbar sein
• Es soll nach Registrierungsnummer bei Marken gefiltert werden können
• Wenn man bei Marken Familien erweitert, sollen die Klassen durchgängig mitkopiert werden
• Es soll in dem Startscreen bei „Fristen und Terminen“ die Möglichkeit mit hinzugefügt werden, dass man die Fristen auch dort direkt auf „obsolet“ setzen kann

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

Fixed bugs:

• If reminders instead of tasks are set in the general setting... this has no effect on the e-mail integration:
• Email integration: Imap: Attachment with empty file name leads to 500 error.
• Image preview is not displayed.
• Form "Submit invention disclosure" does not work.
• E-mail integration: Special characters are not displayed correctly...

New features and enhancements in Continux (further developments from our ideas workshop):

Customer request: Please put the position purchase in the first place for inventor remuneration.

The filter has been extended: it is now also possible to filter by the status "in preparation" for subsequent applications/validations/national phases which have already been created in Continux via the workflow, but have not yet been filed with the respective office

GMail email integration: Integrate Google mailbox via secure authentication path (OAuth 2.0 via IMAP)

Extended document management

Part I: Categorisation by document type and communication; display of all documents of the family in a filtered overview (for example, examination report with annexes (D1, D2, ...)).

Documents of an IP family: document linking, opening and editing parallel documents as well as comparing them, working with documents using the example of an examination notification with prior art documents from different family members, document metadata are extended by 2 further enumerations:

Document type (document type has values such as test certificate, test certificate D1, test certificate D2).

Communication (communication can have values such as: client, office, representative).

The document overview can be filtered according to these categories.

An additional option can be used to display all documents of the family.

Commissioned work: A report is provided that enables the output of essential IP data in CSV format.

Change status of granting decision to 

• German: Erteilung beabsichtigt

Security measures have been further tightened with regard to uploading files to the Continux server.

If entry into a national phase for US is generated from a PCT in the workflow "Extend family", the filing date is copied. If entry into the national phase actually takes place, the date must be entered accordingly:

For US, the examination procedure starts directly with entry into the national phase.

--> Correct status: in examination procedure

Change Request: Regarding the new possibility to display mask areas grouped: EP/US Patents - Move IDS to "Search and Examination".

EP/US Patents, "IDS" is located in the other application data area. According to client, this logically fits more into the "Search and Examination" area.

There is now a new area for innovations and release notes directly in Continux. 

Make innovations and release notes available to customers directly in Continux. In the image above, the area is already shown expanded for your info.

We have adjusted the name of the deadline for claiming an invention. Deadline claiming for invention disclosures is now called “Release of the Invention”.

Change Request: The End of Term (end of duration of a patent or a utility model) report shows all patents and utility models that have reached the end of their term, but we would also like Continux to automatically calculate the status "End of Term reached" or something similar and display it in the overview.

It is great that Continux automatically calculates the VAT depending on the location of the invoice recipient, but we would like to be able to decide this ourselves.  This was solved with the following change request: Allow invoices without VAT via checkbox

Status calculation at the occurrence of the date

• A date in the future should cause the status change only at this future point in time, even if this use case rarely applies. 

E-mail from Continux – internal reference + application number + attorney “your ref” in subject, we ask to include this in the out-of-the-box version. We think every user can use this.

Email integration: emails / attachments cannot be assigned to a conflict file.

CR: Email Integration - Documents vs. Images, depending on the file type this should also be automatically saved in the category provided.

Extended document management 

Part I: Categorization by document type and communication; display of all documents of the family in a filtered overview (e.g. examination notice with attachments (D1, D2, ...)) (Part I: is done with the current release!)

Part II: Saving documents in SharePoint or OneDrive and opening/editing via Office365, or Google Drive and Google Docs

We will provide customers with their own interface for the official deadlines supplied by Continux, where they can configure or extend their deadlines themselves, or, if necessary, set deadlines from "active" to "passive", if they are not of interest, such as the deadline for the regional phase Tanzania or similar. The prerequisite for this own interface is, however, the Continux Enterprise Version, as the effort to manage this on the shared instance would not be easy for the Continux team.

Patent evaluation and review process will be increased and made interactive, so that several roles in a collaboration can submit their evaluation elegantly.

Documents will be stored in OneDrive, SharePoint lists or Google Drive and can be edited via Office 365 or Google Docs respectively.

In the file search (filter) for trade marks as well as in the file preview (listing of all trade marks), the class(es) should be displayed and filterable.

It should be possible to filter by registration number for trade marks.

If you expand the families of trade marks, the classes should be copied as well

In the start screen at "Deadlines and Dates" the possibility shall be added to set the deadlines directly to "obsolete".
