Inventor access to a patent via an assigned task

This article describes the necessary prerequisites so that inventors in Continux can be assigned patent tasks and view them along with the associated patent data. The correct configuration of contacts, group memberships, and access rules is essential for the smooth functioning of this assignment.
The following prerequisites must be fully met: A contact must exist with the same email address as the Continux user. The email address must not have been used in any app within the same instance before.


The developer (Continux user) must, in addition to the Developer group in the Ideas Portal, be a member of at least one group in IPMS. This group can belong to a role without any permissions (cf. Attorney Portal).

In the access rules, read or write permissions must be set for both inventors and users assigned tasks:

Afterwards, a patent task can be created for an inventor, who will then see both the task and patent in their assigned tasks.
