Sending e-mails to copy recipients (CC addresses)

When sending emails, copy recipients (CC) can be defined and automatically included. This feature simplifies communication with multiple contacts and ensures all relevant parties are consistently involved.

CC email addresses on a contact
Multiple CC email addresses can be defined for each contact (company or individual). These addresses are automatically added to the CC field when sending emails and can be manually removed if needed.

Contact persons in a case
Within a case, contact persons can be defined – regardless of whether they are inventors, applicants, or other participants. If several owners are linked to a case and one contact person is defined, all other co-owners are automatically added as CC recipients.

Selecting contact persons when sending emails
When composing an email, the system first checks whether a contact person is defined in the case. If none is found, it searches for an appropriate address in the related contact (e.g. owner or applicant).

These functions ensure that all relevant communication partners are automatically included, while manual adjustments remain possible. This improves clarity, consistency, and efficiency in correspondence.
