Why does the status "Rejected” remain despite a subsequent grant?

If an application is initially rejected, the status in Continux remains “Rejected” as long as a rejection date is entered in the “Rejected” field. 

Even if an appeal or opposition is subsequently successful and, for example, a date is entered for the intended grant or grant, the status does not change automatically. The existing rejection date remains relevant for determining the status. 

Solution 

Once the rejection has been superseded by a successful appeal or opposition: 

• Remove the no longer current rejection date from the “Rejected” field. 
• Complete the relevant event date field with the date of the event, for example “Grant intended” or “Grant”. 
• Check the status again. 

Continux can then determine the current status based on the subsequent procedural data. The previous rejection date may be retained in the notes for complete procedural documentation.
