Geändert am Fr, 16 Jan um 2:57 NACHMITTAGS

Creating a PCT application follows the same basic principle as described in the article “Creating a new file in Continux”. This article adds the input fields relevant for an international patent application (PCT).

Create new “PCT application” file
1. In the left main menu, select the area “Files” → “Patents”.

2. Click the green “New” button.
3. Select “PCT” from the list of file types.
4. The “PCT application” input form opens.
5. First enter the Internal file number (required field).
6. If already known, you can enter the filing date and/or the language of proceedings (optional).
7. Click “Save” to create the new file.

Important note

After the first save, the file reference can be changed only once. If the “Yes, I want to edit this record” option is not used, the file reference cannot be edited later.

Typing error and no option to change?

 How to: Delete file.

Additional PCT application fields
The fields are arranged according to the PCT procedure flow, from filing through WO publication, international search and optional international preliminary examination. For the initial creation, it is sufficient to fill in the required fields. Additional information can be added at any time once available.
